NA KEIKI MAULOA
ABOUT US
A 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization
Na Keiki Mauloa (NKM) provides a positive learning experience for member and team development. Our vision is to create an environment in which we can promote respect, develop character, build self-esteem and teach valuable skill sets and good sportsmanship. We wish to see our members mature and improve through this learning process while having fun through the game of volleyball.
This environment will enrich the members, as well as the coaches and parents, by incorporating core values such as hard work, persistence, discipline, determination, competition, goal setting and accountability. We believe our vision will develop winning members with positive attitudes who will be valuable members of our various communities as they move forward in life. In support of this vision, we emphasize mauloa – for our children to always try one’s best and strive to reach each and every goal.

THE PERSISTENT CHILDREN
We first had the idea of starting a volleyball club in 1995. We wanted to create a culture of growth, determination, and passion, not only for the game of volleyball but for life.
Here, at Na Keiki Mau Loa we do not want our young athletes to just play volleyball, we want them to learn it. And with learning, we must be resilient, open minded, and persistent.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY
Jamie Reid
The coaching staff at Na Keiki Mauloa is top notch! Coach Barney and the rest of the staff have created a wholesome atmosphere in the club where players thrive and are believed in. The coaches go above and beyond to create opportunities for each player!
Persi Mello
Coach Barney and the rest of the coaching staff take the time to ensure that the players understand the physical and mental aspects of the game so that they get meaningful reps during clinics and practice which then transcend seamlessly into game play. We’re grateful to be apart of Nā Keiki Mauloa and are forever appreciative that our daughter was able to learn from such great and caring coaches who have such passion for volleyball!
Nathan Hu
We couldn't be more pleased with her progress both on and off the volleyball court. We appreciate Coach Barney's steadfast commitment to cultivating individuals who are not only volleyball players, but responsible students in the classroom and even better family members.
